The Elbert County Coalition for Outreach is sponsoring a fundraiser for a family in need of help with medical bills for their son, who has some serious health issues.
Aiden Kerbs has broken more than 20 bones from what should have been “just a fall.” Doctors are working to find the cause and potential treatment. However, many expensive tests are needed that are not covered by insurance. The family has been overwhelmed with medical bills, with no end in sight.
To help raise money to help the Kerbs family, the coalition has planned a fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 21 at Kiowa Creek Community Church, 231 Cheyenne St., Kiowa. The event includes spaghetti dinner, live music and a silent auction. Families welcome; and cost of dinner is by donation.
