Basketball booster brings casino night to Parker

The Elizabeth High School Boys Basketball Booster Club is sponsoring its first silent auction and casino night from 7-11 p.m. Jan. 31 at Black Bear Golf Club, 11400 Canterberry Parkway in Parker. The public is invited.

There will be more than 90 silent auction items, from signed sports memorabilia of the Denver Nuggets, Broncos and Avalanche players to restaurant certificates, spa certificates, Nuggets tickets, Central City-Black Hawk Lodging, an Austrian pine tree. More than 20 door prizes will be given out. Tickets are $25 and include all casino games, door prizes and appetizers and are on sale now and must be purchased in advance.
