  • Siena at the Courtyard in Castle Rock has changed management.

Steve Shelman has departed to pursue other opportunities, and Mark

Gilbert, former manager of Roy’s Cherry Creek and of Piscos in

Denver, has taken the helm as general manager. Siena is owned by

local developer Brad Brown, who also co-owns the Castle Café in

Castle Rock with partner Tom Walls (Trinity Grill, Rocky Mountain

Diner, Choppers Sports Grill). The chef is Dennis Corwin, a CIA

graduate who for many years was the executive chef of The Bristol

at Arrowhead. Siena serves Italian-American food in downtown Castle

Rock with a large selection of Italian and American wines.
