The Douglas Elbert Realtor Association, through the Colorado Association of Realtor Housing Opportunity Foundation, has donated $3,000 this month to the Douglas County Housing Partnership for use in Douglas County.

The housing partnership also provides down payment assistance to qualified first time homebuyers in Douglas County. Another program they provide, the “Foreclosure Mediation Program,” offers homeowners free mediation services for the re-negotiation of their loan terms.

The Douglas Elbert Realtor Association will complete a second grant cycle in the fall of this year, and will be awarding additional grants to other local nonprofit housing organizations.
