Elbert Creekside 4-H Club reporter, Tawni Strachan
The Elbert Creekside 4-H meeting was called to order at 3:17
p.m. on Oct. 4 by treasurer Colten Rohleder. The pledges were said,
and then the meeting got rolling.
Attendance was called by club secretary McKenna Henderson and
then she did a fabulous job giving the club her secretary’s report.
Colten also gave a Treasurer’s report.
Our main leader Ben Duke then made a number of announcements
about enrollments, Livestock Record Books and 2009-2010
presentation sign-ups. He also handed out pride forms for the
coming year.
He handed out exhibits and materials to those members who had
participated in this year’s State Fair. Once again, the club did
very well at the State Fair. Ben read the names of the participants
and the awards they had won. We had no presentations so the
business meeting was adjourned at 4:47 pm.
Elections for new officers was done. President was won by Colten
Rohleder, vice president was won by Kort Henderson, secretary was
won by Travis Cayou and treasurer was won by McKenna Henderson.
Tawni Strachan
was elected as club reporter again, and the new historian is
Jenna Hood.
Congratulations to all the new officers, and good luck for our
new 4-H year. The next meeting will be at 3 p.m. on Nov. 8 at the
Elbert Christian Church.
