Special to the news

The Elbert Creekside 4-H Christmas meeting was called to order at 3:15 p.m. on Dec. 6 by club president Colten Rohleder. Following the pledges, Travis Cayou, club secretary, took the attendance. He did not have a current secretary’s report. McKenna Henderson, the Treasurer, gave the whole club her treasurer’s report, followed by the youth council report given by Kort Henderson.

Kort informed the club that the youth council has decided to cancel a few of the pins for Pride Awards, because of the budget. The club filled gift bags for the Elbert area senior citizens and also sang “Happy Birthday” to our December babies in the club, Caleb Brown, Anna Fisher, Tawni Strachan, Aubri Strachan and Kodi Henderson. The club also sang to those of us who had November birthdays and couldn’t make it to the previous meeting.
