Botanic Gardens’ holiday lights

“Blossoms of Light” will glow at Denver Botanic Gardens, 1007 York St., Denver, from 4:30 to 9 p.m. through Jan. 2 and Trails of Light will beckon 5 to 8:30 p.m. at DBG’s Chatfield Farms, 8500 W. Deer Creek Canyon Rd. Admission charged. Closed Christmas Day at both locations.

Singers at DU’s Newman Center

The King’s Singers, an acapella chorus, will perform at 7:30 Dec. 9 at Gates Concert Hall at the Newman Center, 2344 E. Iliff Ave., at the University of Denver. Tickets start at $29. 303-871-7720.

Volunteers sought by DCPA

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts is recruiting more than 220 volunteers as it begins to open a season. Ushers receive tickets to DCPA’s Broadway and cabaret shows. Must be 18+ and show proof of vaccination. See denvercenter.org/support-us/volunteers/ to register.
