The Town of Elizabeth Planning Commission has rescheduled the
public hearing regarding the Community Master Plan to 7 p.m. Jan.
20 at the Elizabeth Middle School, 34427 County Road 13, to receive
comment regarding the town’s Community Master Plan.
The plan is a framework and guide for accomplishing community
aspirations and intentions. It states goals and recommends courses
of actions for future growth and development of land, public
facilities, and environmental protection.
“Due to an error in the public notification, we have rescheduled
the public hearing to ensure that no one is left out of the process
and that those with comments are given their opportunity, ” said
Chris La May, town administrator. “Additionally, if anyone is
unable to attend, they may provide written comment, which will be
entered into the public record of the meeting.”
Written comments should be mailed to the attention of the Town
Planner, Town of Elizabeth, PO Box 159, Elizabeth, COLO 80107. A
draft copy of the Community Master Plan is available for interested
parties on the town’s Web site at www.townofelizabeth.org.
