Applications are due Oct. 1 for the 2010 Colorado Teacher of the
Year. The Colorado Department of Education encourages fellow
educators, education administrators, parents and community members
to nominate their best and brightest teachers.

submit their applications by Oct. 1. An external selection
committee will determine the finalists, and the 2010 Colorado
Teacher of the Year will be announced in November.
