Elbert High School graduating senior Conrad Rohleder is the winner of a $500 scholarship from Smoky Hill Trail Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Ellie Yoakam, DAR scholarship chairman, introduced the recipient of this year's scholarship March 21. Rohleder has been accepted at Colorado School of Mines and plans to major in chemical engineering. He is the son of Garry and Wendy Rohleder, of Elbert.

Christopher M. Blaser, of Elbert, a senior exercise and sport science student, made the winter term scholastic honor roll at Oregon State University.
