Boys highlights: Elizabeth’s Matt Smith was second in the
100-meter dash and won the 200 with a time of 22.40 seconds. Scott
Carter was second in the triple jump.
Girls highlights: Karlie Johansen was second in the 100-meter
dash. Hannah Lee won the 200 with a time of 27.26 seconds. Kelsi
Chuven was second in that event. Katie Roos was second in the 100
high hurdles. The Cardinals’ 400-meter relay team won the event
with a time of 52.32. The 800 relay team also won their event with
1:48.64 on the clock. Elizabeth girls also finished second in the
800 sprint medley.
